Find Serial Numbers and Product Keys in Autodesk Account: Your Serial Number and Product Key are displayed in your Autodesk Account in the product tray on the Products & Services page and also again in the Software Download window. Note about serial number visibility in Autodesk Account: Only account administrators, such as Contract Managers and Software Coordinators, and Named Users with assigned software benefits will see serial numbers in Autodesk Account. You are the account administrator if you purchased a software subscription using your Autodesk Account or were assigned the role of Contract Manager or Software Coordinator by your company. If you do not see the software you wish to activate in your Autodesk account or see the message "Contact your admin for serial numbers," you need to contact the contract administrator. Only an administrator can assign you as a Named User or End User and give you permissions to download and activate the software.
Ecotect 2011 Product Serial Number
If, for whatever reason, you cannot locate your product key, there is another method: 1. Using your installation media, (USB key, DVD, download folder, etc.) navigate to the location of the setup.exe file for your Autodesk product. 2. In that folder, look for a file named MID.txt, MID01.txt, MID02.txt or some variation on that name. 3. Open this file in notepad and verify that the product name is what you expected it to be. 4. The first five characters of the part number should also be the product key for that product.

In this post, you can find all product keys for Autodesk 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 products. Why are product keys so important you ask? They are required for installation of Autodesk products and are used to differentiate products that are both sold independently and as part of a product suite.

When you install Ecotect Analysis, you are prompted to enteryour serial number and product key in the Product and UserInformation page. The serial number and product key are located onthe outside of the product packaging, or in the email you receivedif you downloaded your product. Make sure to have these availablebefore you install the program so that you dont have to stop in themiddle of the installation. Transfer the detachable sticker or savea copy of the email to a safe location to keep this information forfuture transactions. A software license manager embedded into theproduct prevents unauthorized use of the product and will requireyou to input your serial number in order to register and activateyour copy of Autodesk Ecotect Analysis.
If you do not yet have your Autodesk Ecotect Analysis serialnumber, or are not yet ready to activate, you can still install thesoftware and run in a fully functioning trial mode for 30 days fromdate of installation. After 30 days the software will run in DemoMode, without the ability to save or print. INSTALLATIONTo use the product, you must install the product,register and activate it, and then launch it. This section providesinstructions for installing and activating Ecotect Analysis for anindividual user on a stand-alone computer. For information aboutinstalling a network licensed version of the program, see theNetwork Administrator's Guide. Installing Autodesk Ecotect Analysis2011 can be done directly from the product DVD. Depending on youroperating system and its settings, the installer for the softwarewill usually run automatically after inserting the DVD into yourcomputer. If it does not, you can run it manually by locating thesetup.exe file in the top directory of your DVD drive. Using yourweb browser, simply double-click the left mouse button on this filewhen you locate it.
